Hi, and welcome to my little corner of the internet.In 2018, I moved from London to Hong Kong for a role that ultimately led to becoming Asia Pacific Director for a London property developer.Since then, I've worked with buyers across the region, acting as a bridge between London and Asia, while building a lasting connection with Hong Kong and becoming a permanent resident.With a deep interest in communication, I also create content about language, property, cities and life abroad. At the moment it's mostly my progress (and struggles!) with Cantonese.

How we communicate, live, work and build trust is shifting.I'm fascinated by that change and the opportunities it creates. I like questioning established ways of doing things, spotting new possibilities, and experimenting with ideas, content and technology.Living between the UK and Asia has shaped how I see the world. I'm fascinated by cities, culture, language, politics and geopolitics, and how they shape the way we live and understand each other.

I've built my career in London property
I've spent 13+ years working for London property developers, first in London and now across Asia Pacific, working directly with affluent and high-net-worth buyers.Much of my role is about communicating London property to an international audience, understanding different expectations and ways of doing business across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and beyond.During my time in Hong Kong, our office has sold hundreds of millions of pounds of London property.I know the industry well and have plenty of opinions about it. I'm particularly interested in how property is marketed and sold internationally, how trust is built with buyers, and how greater transparency and better communication could improve the experience.
